Machi-ai

Machi-ai: The Huntington Japanese Garden. San Marino, CA  May 3, 2013

Don’t know an f/stop from a bus stop? That’s OK. I do. My photography is a composite of balance, emotion and light. And these 3 things will never look the same way to you again.

Photography became part of my life when I was 12. Light, gesture and story inform my ideas. Working as a professional photographer challenges and thrills me daily. And I’d never change it. Well maybe. Well, not really. One or two days anyway….

I’ll listen to your story. You can bet I have a few of my own.  (:(*)

I never lose site of what I’m building for you: interesting and beautiful photographs. I’ve produced many types of photography over the years but portraits, man-made landscapes and the time-lapse narrative are my favorites.

I’ve worked around the world and close to home. I’ve produced thousands of satisfying assignments and I believe that a successful photograph is a series of small decisions made correctly. I’ll build extraordinary for you. This is the expertise I offer.

Together we’ll succeed.

Michael
